This session will feature Nathaniel H’Limi, a French director, illustrator and artist whose career combines animation, drawing and visual storytelling. During the masterclass, H’Limi will share his creative process and explain how he builds characters and worlds through different visual languages and techniques. Drawing on his experience with La Vie de château and its evolution into the feature film La Vie de château – Mon enfance à Versailles, co-directed with Clémence Madeleine-Perdrillat, he will provide an in-depth look at the visual and narrative development of an animation project and the different stages involved in bringing an idea from the drawing board to the screen.
