Iron Boy

Summary

Christophe, an 11-year-old boy living in rural Beauce in the 1980s, struggles to earn his father's affection by helping on the family farm. However, his life changes drastically when he must wear a metal corset due to a mysterious ailment that prevents him from continuing his daily chores. This change takes him away from farm work, but opens the door to new passions like swimming and music, especially the church organ. Together with his friend Clara, he embarks on a journey of maturity that challenges the strict norms of his rural environment and transforms his view of the world.

Louis Clichy

Born in 1979 and originally from the Beauce region, Louis Clichy trained in animation at the École des Gobelins in Paris. He began his career as an animator at Pixar, working on Wall-E (2008) and Up (2009).
