Julián
Summary
Julián is a young boy who is about to spend the summer with a grandmother he barely knows. Through good days and not so good days, Julián navigates his own unique path of revelation. Connecting with his grandmother's past, his Dominican roots and his new best friends, Julián begins to understand his own self-expression. He discovers something magical: Julián is a mermaid!
Wishing to take part in a local Mermaid Parade, Julián asks his grandmother's help to make a costume. But tensions come to a head when they have very different ideas about what's acceptable and what is too much.
