Little Amélie

Little Amélie

Summary

Until she was two and a half years old, Amélie perceived herself as a simple digestive tract, an inert and vegetative being. But a key event brings her into the world of childhood. In just six months, she discovers language, the company of her parents and siblings, the pleasures of the garden, her first passions: Japan and water, and also her first aversions, such as the carp in the pond.

A deeply poetic story that reminds us how, from the age of three, everything we are begins to take shape: happiness, pain, identity. Audience Award at the Annecy Festival 2025.
