Passionate about cinema? We're looking for the kids' jury for My First Film Festival 2026

Are you between 9 and 12 years old and crazy about movies? My First Film Festival is looking for four kids in Madrid and Barcelona to vote on this year's best films. Here’s how to sign up before September 29th.

If movies are all you talk about at home and you know every line by heart, this is for you. My First Film Festival is opening entries again to find the four most curious minds for this year's edition. We are looking for kids aged 9 to 12 living in Madrid or Barcelona to decide which short and feature films take home the top awards.
Here is how the spots are split:
  • In Barcelona: Two kids for the International Short Film Competition jury.
  • In Madrid: Two kids for the International Feature Film Competition jury.
You don't need to be an expert—just bring your passion for sharing your thoughts and enjoying the big screen. Plus, the selected jury members won't be doing it alone: they will debate and vote alongside three film and media professionals who will guide them during the in-person deliberations on the final weekend of the festival.
How do you sign up?
It's super easy. Head over to the festival website, fill out the form, and attach a quick intro video. Record yourself on a phone sharing your favorite movie and why you’d love to join the team. You have until September 29th to send it in.
It's a great chance to experience the festival behind the scenes, meet other movie-loving kids, and practice pitching your ideas in a real debate. See you at the movies!
