Eduardo Filippi

Based in Barcelona, Eduardo Filippi develops film, educational, and research projects in collaboration with artists, cultural institutions, and academic spaces. Much of his artistic and educational practice takes place in his film laboratory, where he explores the relationships between experimental cinema, materiality, perception, and expanded practices of the moving image.

He leads workshops on film history, film laboratory practices, projection, and 16 mm film processing at museums, cultural centers, and art schools. He has collaborated with institutions such as Fundació Joan Brossa, Museu Picasso Barcelona, and Escola Massana.

His educational practice combines the transmission of technical knowledge with the development of a critical and sensitive approach to images, reclaiming the materiality of cinema as a tool for exploration, perception, and contemporary creation. His work lies at the intersection of experimental cinema, performance, materiality, and audiovisual research.
