A director, animator and teacher with more than 30 years of experience working in animation, film and advertising. He studied Graphic Design at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico, and later Traditional 2D Animation at Sheridan College in Canada, as well as completing a Master's degree in Cinematography at the Universidad Casa Lamm in Mexico. For five years he worked at DreamWorks/PDI, participating in films such as The Prince of Egypt, Antz, Shrek 2 and Madagascar. Throughout his career he has also directed and produced commercials, series and animated films. He has been invited on various occasions as a jury member for the evaluation of short and feature films at IMCINE (Mexico), as well as at other festivals and calls for projects such as Proimágenes Colombia and CutOut Fest. Furthermore, he has been a speaker at numerous events across the Spanish-speaking world, from Argentina and Colombia to Puerto Rico, Spain and various cities in Mexico. For years he has combined his work as a director and creator with teaching, something he particularly enjoys because it allows him to share what he has learnt in the industry with new animators. His motto is: "The great dreamer never sleeps".
