Estíbaliz Burgaleta studied at the Escola de Cinema de Madrid (ECAM) and, since then, she has worked as a screenwriter in several television series, among which Skam, Velvet, Las chicas del cable, Tú no eres especial or Las largas sombras stand out, the most recent being Serpientes y escaleras . Currently, she combines her professional life as a screenwriter and as a tutor for the ECAM's master's degree in scriptwriting for fiction series.
She has always had the cuquet of the narrative and has tried to make the feina life compatible with the screenwriter and the writing of fiction. He has written the novel Loser, winner of the Premi Cepa for youth novels; The winner takes it all, with the Adeshoras publishing house, and the children's novel Los gamers pirates, together with Roberto Santiago.
The seventh most recent work is the collection of children's books titled El club de las malas ideas, published by Editorial Molino (of the Penguin Random House group). At the moment two volumes have not been published: El peor primer día de clase and Profe a la fuga. The third volume of the saga will be published at the end of 2025.
