Marc Garriga

With more than two decades of experience at Catalunya Ràdio, he specialised in film reporting eight years ago and has been head of the Culture section of the News Services since the end of 2022. During this time, he has been responsible for covering film news, including the festivals of Cannes, Venice, San Sebastián, Málaga and Sitges. He has also co-hosted, in some years, the special programmes for the Gaudí Awards and the Oscars. He has served as a jury member at festivals such as the BCN Film Fest and Americana, and is in charge of film reviews on the 3CatInfo website. He is also a voter for the Feroz and Forqué awards.

Previously, he was deputy director of El matí de Catalunya Ràdio during the period presented by Manel Fuentes; he directed and presented the summer edition of El matí de Catalunya Ràdio for two seasons, as well as other programmes such as Això és Mórdor! and Memòria setmanal. He has also been head of Digital Content, head of the Society section and a journalist specialised in crime, including a period as head of the Press Office of the Mossos d’Esquadra in Barcelona.
