Blancanieves (2012) won 10 Goya Awards, including Best Film, and represented Spain at the Oscars. Abracadabra (2017) obtained 8 Goya Award nominations and was a finalist to represent Spain at the Oscars. His latest film Robot Dreams (2023) premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and received the Contrechamp Grand Prix at the Annecy Festival.
