Rocío Montaño

Rocío Montaño (1994) is a filmmaker and primary school teacher. Her film practice focuses on diary film and home cinema. She has also taught film workshops and training sessions in secondary schools and institutions such as Escuela SUR, Rey Juan Carlos University, and the CA2M Museum, where she also designed an expanded cinema session for families. She has directed more than fifteen films, some of which have been selected at festivals such as Documenta Madrid, Punto de Vista, D’A, and Cinespaña. In 2023, the Íntima Fest dedicated a retrospective to her at La Casa Encendida.
