Verónica Buide

With a 20-year career in the audiovisual and entertainment industry, I have worked as executive producer of animated series and feature films, and have been involved in the global expansion of children’s animation projects such as Pocoyó, Miraculous Ladybug, Gormiti, Milo and Mortina.

I have established strategic alliances, co-productions and commercial agreements with studios, broadcasters, platforms, distributors and licensees from Korea to Canada, across Europe and Latin America.

I am also an intellectual property, audiovisual law and digital rights attorney.

I serve as an evaluator of animation projects in public funding calls, as well as a mentor and frequent speaker at industry panels and professional events. Additionally, I teach courses related to the protection and exploitation of intellectual property.

My commitment to animation goes beyond production: I work to strengthen the industry through diversity, equal opportunities, project internationalization, and the development of sustainable business models for animated content, where the transmedia, digital and technological components are increasingly relevant.
