Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, los padres de Gerda y Otto son arrestados por formar parte del movimiento de resistencia noruego. Tras su arresto, los dos hermanos descubren a dos niños judíos, Sarah y Daniel, escondidos en el sótano de su casa. Ahora les toca a ellos terminar lo que empezaron sus padres: ayudar a Sarah y a Daniel a huir de los nazis, cruzar la frontera con la Suecia neutral y reunirlos con su familia.

In World War Two, Gerda and Otto's parents are arrested as members of the Norwegian resistance movement. Following their arrest, the two siblings find two Jewish children, Sarah and Daniel, hiding in the basement of their home. Now they have to finish what their parents started: to help Sarah and Daniel flee the Nazis, crossing the border into neutral Sweden, and reuniting them with their family.
