This session of short films is part of Action Film 2, a project promoted by Catalunya Film Festivals in cooperation with the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation and in alliance with Lafede.cat. The goal of the project is to promote film as a tool for building an educated, critical and mobilised citizenry for a fairer world.

 

The session includes short films produced in countries in the Global South that tell stories about children in Palestine, South Africa, Iran, Mexico, Morocco and so on, all of which question paternalistic logics of hegemonic Western audiovisual products.
