Summary
Thumbeline and Fingerita are two sisters who live in the forest with their mother. Thumbeline is going through adolescence and lately doesn't feel much like helping out with the housework. Because of her sister’s rebelliousness, little Fingerita has to shoulder all the responsibilities when her mother is injured at work. One day, while gathering firewood in the forest, she discovers the fantastic world of Old Mother Snow, who introduces her to the wonders of nature.
