Accessible screenings for deaf audiences at the 18th edition of My First Film Festival
From November 8 to 23, My First Film Festival celebrates its 18th edition with a strong commitment to inclusion. This year’s programme features three screenings accessible for deaf audiences, with adapted subtitles, hearing loop, Catalan Sign Language (LSC) interpreter, and live transcription during the introduction and Q&A.
In addition, we offer 10 free double tickets for deaf attendees and one companion per session — a wonderful opportunity to experience cinema with full accessibility!
(Additional companions must purchase their own ticket.)

The selection explores migration through the eyes of children forced to “leave home” in search of a better life, facing perilous journeys and social prejudice.

A new short film competition for audiences aged 10 and above. Stories about family bonds, courage, friendship and the importance of caring for our planet — a diverse selection that travels from the Amazon jungle to the bustling streets of the city.
