VIVABOOK is here: a space to connect the world of books and children's audiovisuals
At My First Film Festival, we have been working for some time to bring together two creative industries that share values, imagination and audience, but that still too often move forward along parallel paths: the publishing world and the audiovisual sector. This shared interest has been evident in the last two professional conferences that we have promoted in 2023 and 2024, where the need and strategic opportunity to create real bridges between these two sectors has been evident.
With this objective, we present VIVABOOK, the new industry space of My First Film Festival, which was created to promote audiovisual adaptations of literary works for children and young people. We want to generate synergies between authors, publishers, producers and screenwriters, and promote projects that connect literary creativity with the narrative potential of the screen.
VIVABOOK is an ecosystem of exchange, training and creation, designed to grow projects from the ground up and promote a diverse perspective on children's audiovisual production.
On May 7th we will make public the first project of this ecosystem: an initiative that marks the beginning of this new adventure of My First Film Festival.
