Álvaro Morote is a traditional 2D animator and professor at Voxel School in Madrid, where he combines his creative work with the training of new talents in animation.

He began his professional career at SPA Studios working on Klaus, a film awarded with 7 Annie Awards, and since then has collaborated with international studios on projects such as Space Jam: A New Legacy, Arlo the Alligator Boy, Disney Descendants, Merry Little Batman, or The Treasure of Barracuda, recently released in cinemas. He has also animated for short films and advertising campaigns for brands such as McDonald's, Facebook, Instagram, Jolly Rancher, or Fanta, as well as adult series like Pobre Diablo and Agent Elvis, and shorts like Wayback or A ti, quien te espera, which will premiere soon.
