Pepa Blanes is Head of the Culture Section at Cadena SER where she directs and presents the programme El cine en la SER.

 

With a degree in Journalism from UCM and a Master's Degree in Sociocultural and Gender Analysis, she specialised in film journalism, working in media such as Diario Información, Europa Press and Movistar+. She has also published articles in magazines such as Cambio 16, Ctxt, Caimán and Libero.

 

Author of the book Abre los ojos, películas y series para entender el mundo, Pepa is particularly interested in audiovisual and cinematographic dissemination, enabling all audiences to keep abreast of new developments in the Seventh Art.
