Sandra Lodi (Lugo, 1990) is an illustrator, designer, animator, muralist and plastic artist from Lugo based in Santiago de Compostela. She graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, a time in which she also had the opportunity to learn about the method of creative production at the Accademia di Bele Arti di Brera (Milan) where she studied for a year.
In 2019 she was awarded the 2nd Curuxa Prize for Graphic Humor from the Xaquín Marín Museum and in 2021 her pictorial work was selected for the XII Eixo Atlántico Painting Biennial. In 2022 she received first prize in the Culturbán mural combat (Lugo), and in 2023 she won the highest award in the IV Painting Contest of the Cans Festival.
Sandra Lodi is the animator of the short film Yo voy conmigo, based on the illustrated album by Raquel Díaz Reguera and produced by Abano Producións. In 2024 she published Papóns, her first children's illustrated album, awarded the IV 'Alberte Quiñoi' Prize, and she is currently working on her first graphic novel, Adelina, awarded with the XIX Castelao Comic Prize.
She also publishes her graphic humor illustrations in El Estafador and in the satirical magazine Mongolia, in addition to collaborating with other national press media.
