Yago Fandiño

Yago Fandiño is the Director of Children's Content and the Clan channel at RTVE. He combines his responsibilities as Director of the Corporation's Children's Area with his duties as Content Manager for Clan, RTVE's children's and youth channel.
With more than twenty years of experience in integrated web/TV projects, Fandiño has linked his entire professional career to children's communication and entertainment. A journalist by training, he has been associated with RTVE for 16 years. From 2014 to the present, he has been the Corporation's Director of Children's Content. Previously, he held the position of Deputy Director of Children's Content and Interactive Media at RTVE.
With more than 30 international co-productions under her belt, her work has been recognized with various awards, including the Iris Awards from the Television Academy for Best Children's Program in 2019, 2020, and 2021 for Lunnis de Leyenda and Aprendemos en Casa, and the award for Best Children's Program at the New York Film Festival for the special episode of Lunnis de Leyenda at the Prado Museum.
She is part of the EBU's Children's Content Experts team and, as a result of the Aprendemos en Clan project, has participated in numerous meetings and seminars on the new role of Educational Television.
