Family memory: Create the film of your memories
In this workshop, designed for the whole family, we will create and reflect on the family archive — everything we treasure and wish to return to. Home cinema allows us to revisit and share what we have gathered over time: images, sounds, words, objects, sensations, or memories. It is an exercise in attention and creativity that expands our individual memory and contributes to collective memory.
During the workshop, we will talk about this type of cinema and take part in creative activities designed for all ages, through which we will reflect on images and on personal, family, and collective memory. In the second session, each family will create its own film using freely chosen materials — cutouts, sounds, personal videos, photos, stop-motion animation…
The workshop will conclude with a screening of the created works at the auditorium of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid on Friday, November 7.
