David Castro González is a director, producer and educator. His films have been screened in competition at festivals such as Sitges, SEMINCI, Huesca, TIFF, Annecy, Bogoshorts and Málaga, and he has been nominated three times for the Goya Awards for Uka, Todo está perdido and Carmela. In 2025, while participating in the Film Academy's Residency Programme, he wrote LANA, his first feature film, which is currently in development.

The intersection between film and education is central to his practice. He teaches at film schools and universities. At ECAM, he launched Órbita Cine, an interdisciplinary programme designed to bring film into the classroom. She continues this work through Cítrico Lab, which she founded as a laboratory for pedagogical experimentation through film, where she collaborates with educators who are also filmmakers. Through this initiative, she designs and delivers educational activities for festivals and cultural organisations such as the Instituto Cervantes, the Spanish Film Academy and Ambulante in Mexico.
