Summary

Michael is sailing around the world with his family when, suddenly, a great storm hits, and he and his beloved dog Stella are swept overboard and end up on a remote island in the Pacific. They are unable to find food and drinking water, but nearby is Kensuke, a Japanese gentleman who will help them survive on the island.

An adventure film for the whole family which illustrates the importance of human bonds.

Neil Boyle

After leaving film school, Neil was hired by triple Oscar-winning director Richard Williams to work on the Disney/Spielberg production 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'.  In 2020 Neil became Drawover Consultant on the Warner Bros movie "Tom and Jerry".

Kensuke's kingdom is his first feature film as a director.

Kirk Hendry

Kirk Hendry wrote and directed the multi-award-winning short Junk, which has been selected at over 150 film festivals worldwide. He has directed commercials for The World Wildlife Fund, Ardbeg whiskey, The Guardian newspaper and won Gold Promax awards for his popular ITV Dancing On Ice polar bear promos.
