Petites Grans Joies arrives on Filmin CAT from 24 November to 24 December
After delighting audiences at El Meu Primer Festival, the Petites Grans Joies sessions will be available on Filmin CAT from 24 November to 24 December.
For an entire month, families, teachers and educational centres will be able to access these curated short-film programmes from home, enjoying them at their own pace in a comfortable and flexible digital format. This release offers an excellent opportunity to introduce high-quality international animation into both classroom and family contexts, with stories especially selected for children aged 5 to 7.
Volume I (+5 years) invites young viewers to explore the world with tenderness and curiosity. This programme brings together adventures full of humour and emotion: a young fox searching for help to find her mother, a mysterious carrot that disrupts the life of two timid rabbits, a genie emerging from a tin of ravioli, and a crocodile whose only wish is to receive a hug. Children will also encounter mischievous cats, accessible explanations about climate, hidden treetop libraries and cities where nature is quietly forbidden. It is a gentle, engaging selection that encourages conversation both at school and at home.
Volume II (+7 years) is aimed at children who are beginning to ask deeper questions about the world around them. Among the stories are a curious bird who discovers a box that opens unexpected doors, a polar bear and a brown bear whose friendship is put to the test, and a family gathered at dinner as rising water gradually floods the room—until one brave girl decides to act. The session also includes poetic and intimate tales: a grandmother who stores her memories in boxes cherished by her granddaughter, a grandfather passing on the care of his garden before he disappears, and, as a closing piece, a boy who discovers magical nocturnal creatures thanks to a simple pair of wellington boots.
Created by filmmakers from around the world, Petites Grans Joies offers an educational approach to audiovisual content that embraces sensitivity and reflection. The sessions support emotional development, broaden perspectives and encourage children to express their own ideas and questions. They have become a valuable resource for schools, libraries, children’s programmes and families seeking high-quality, non-overstimulating and artistically rich content.
Available from 24 November to 24 December on Filmin CAT, Petites Grans Joies is an invitation to pause, imagine and share. A universe of small yet powerful stories ready to turn any afternoon into a moment of shared discovery.
