The My First Film Festival team is excited to announce that Tony, Shelly and the Magic Light, an emotional stop-motion animated film with puppets, recently acquired by distributor Rita & Luca Films, will be part of the official section of My First Film Festival in Barcelona and Madrid. Directed by Filip Pošivač, this charming film promises to captivate children and adults with its magical story and captivating characters.

The story revolves around Tony, an eleven-year-old boy who has a unique birth characteristic: he shines! But he spends his days hiding at home, in his blanket bunker and dreaming of having someone to play with. The days before Christmas, a peculiar girl named Shelly moves into his building and turns his world upside down. Together they will embark on a magical adventure and discover the fascinating mystery of the building in which they live.

This moving story touches on themes of friendship, imagination, light and mysteries, celebrates the beauty of being different and was awarded the Contrechamp Prize at the Annecy animation festival and the Clear Channel Special Award at the Giffoni Film Festival.
