Franco García Becerra is a film director born in Cusco (Peru, 1977). Graduated from the Lima Film School, and trained at the Professional Training Center of the Argentine Film Union SICA. With his short film “INDIE”, he won the CONACINE National Short Film Award in 2008.

Later he made the film “Souther winds” (2018). His latest film “Raíz” premiered at the Berlin Festival, where it competed in the Generation KPlus section.
