Every year we are more committed to sustainability
My First Film Festival is committed to continuing to advance on its path towards sustainability, working together with its collaborators and the public to guarantee a festival that is more respectful of the environment and more aware of the importance of taking care of our planet.
In each new edition, My First Film Festival reinforces its commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness, moving towards an increasingly environmentally friendly festival model. The festival is proud of its shared responsibility in building a better future for both children and the planet.
Additionally, in our selection of films, we look for those that promote values of responsible consumption, care for the environment and sustainable development. Through teaching guides and classroom sheets, we encourage reflection and environmental awareness among girls and boys.
Among the notable actions that we implement to minimize our environmental impact and promote sustainability, we would like to highlight the following:
Sustainable mobility: Promotion of sustainable mobility for our public by promoting public transport for access to our headquarters, control of guests and origin in order to minimize the carbon footprint of their trips.
Digital film delivery: Replacing physical deliveries with digital deliveries and prioritizing the delivery of projection files through digital servers instead of physical media.
Use of ecological courier: Prioritization of the use of courier services certified as ecological for the management of projection and dissemination materials, hiring of local suppliers committed to the environment for different advertising printing services,
Digital communication campaign: Our communication campaign has increasing weight in its digital communication actions.
