This year, the guest country at My First Film Festival is Japan. So we decided to dedicate a section to Japanese animation so that you can enjoy the unique magic and artistry of these films. Let us take you on a journey to the Land of the Rising Sun through a series of feature films and programmes of shorts made using different animation techniques, from the classic, famous anime, to stop-motion and cut-out. These are movies full of sensitivity and delicacy, characteristic features of Japanese culture.
